Hi Friends,

As a chapter lead, your year-round efforts are the heart of Women In Product.

We’re delighted you will be joining us at the Women In Product Conference 2019, and would like to personally thank you for your commitment, energy and support - the communities you create and foster are central to our work. We can’t wait to bring our global network together for an epic event celebrating women in product management.

On November 12, we’ll gather for a day of inspiration, connection, and actionable insights. Many accomplished female product leaders will take the stage to share the methods and mindsets that helped them tackle tough product challenges, and we’ll explore tools and strategies to navigate the career obstacles that many women in product currently face. You’ll find a host of opportunities to meet other women working in product and expand your network.

We’re all looking forward to spending an amazing day connecting with 2,000 of our peers.

We’re excited to see you at #19WIP.

Can I edit the details on my ticket?
Yes, these changes can be made on Eventbrite by the ticket purchaser. Complimentary Chapter Lead Tickets are not transferable. You may change your ticket details up to four days before the event, including contact details, title, etc. Please double-check these details - they will be what print on your badge! To make changes, log in to Eventbrite and follow these instructions

I need a room! How do I get the group rate for the conference?
We've got you covered - book here by October 10 to receive our group rate!

How do I get to the conference? Is there parking on-site?
You can find conference directions, transit options, and parking information here. Parking at the hotel is limited and we encourage you to take public transportation. There are additional nearby public garages located at Ellis & O’Farrell and Mason & O’Farrell.

Do I need a printed copy of my Eventbrite ticket for the conference?
Nope! We’ll email you a quick-scan badge to speed you through the check-in process, which you can save to your mobile device. At the event, you can check in using your name, the email associated with your ticket, or text 19WIP to 878787 for a copy of your quick-scan badge.

I'm a new mom. Is there a mother's room at the conference?
Yes! We ask if you'll be using our Mother's Room's at registration, but there is no official sign-up. We just want to be sure we have plenty of private spaces available.

I need childcare. Can you help?
Absolutely! Trusted is offering attendees of this year's conference a $25 childcare credit, redeemable toward in-home care on 11/12 - just use code WIP25.

Can I check my coat or bag?
We will have a hosted coat check at the conference.

What food and refreshment should I expect from Conference events?
Great question! Food (and coffee!) is important to us too. Here’s what we’ll provide:

  • We’ll start the day with light breakfast bites at our morning registration mixer, and lunch is provided.

  • Coffee, tea, and water will be available throughout the day.

  • We’ll also provide plenty of snacks and treats to fuel you throughout the day.

  • We’ll wrap the party with our EmPower networking reception, where you can deepen your new connections (or catch up with far-flung friends) over drinks and small bites.

A note on special dietary requirements: All meals and snacks will include at least one vegan/vegetarian option and we’ll have gluten-free choices. We’ll also have non-dairy alternatives for coffee and tea. There are also many alternative dining options in the hotel and immediate neighborhood.

I have a conference ticket. Does that mean I have access to the workshops?
The PostConference Workshop + Conference are separate tickets. Naturally, we’d love to see you at both - but please note tickets are completely separate. Conference tickets do NOT gain access to workshops, nor do workshop tickets admit you to the conference. You can sign up for workshop and get tickets here.

How do I make sure I've got the latest details, and connect with the WIP community around the conference?
We’ll send regular emails leading up to the conference, and they’ll keep you up to date on all things #19WIP. The official conference app, which will be released in early November, will allow you to pre-game your networking and schedule meetings with other attendees. Follow us on Facebook where you can join the WIP Facebook Community to meet other women going to the event. Connect with us on Twitter and Instagram, and subscribe to the WIP newsletter to never miss an update!
